maybe on mavericks its the same issue with running the uncompiled version of soundloom like on snow leopard. for me on snow leo it worked like this:
go to the not working soundloom app in the finder, then right click on "show contents" and put it in to your programme folder or where you want it to run from..

yes, you can. cdp7 doesnt touch cdp 6.  i also have version 6 installed but i will keep it. its not taking much space and you never know, if there may be some bugs in one or the other program before testing it for a time. if you remove cdp 6, dont forget to backup all your worked on sound- and textfiles first...(if you are like me and like to keep them way too long inside the cdp directory ;-)

Showcase / Re: a CDP Frontend in max MSP

sure this would be more than great on the one hand. on the other hand i have to admit - as a heavy user of both max and cdp - i like the different approaches of both softwares and that cdp has this parametrical focus on composing. being not real-time is somehow old school today, but it also makes it special in its working procedure.

hi there,
@cdp team:
i am using snow leopard and have been a user of cdp6. with cdp7 i have the same invalid data message (Cannot open output file cdptest0.wav) like NickFive.
@NickFive:
you are on mountain lion, so did you read the part of 'Release7-InstallationNotes-MAC.txt' which tells you about "Installation on Mountain Lion and Mavericks..."
and the 'Manualconfig.pdf'?
as i am having the same issue on 0sx 10.6 i doubt it, but maybe this could work for you..
