I have this problem with MOVE formants by:
When a try to "move formants by" everything works good but not when I turn on the "Silence unpitched" square, then appears this message "ERROR: File ~X_0.ana either has unredable header, or is a textfile with a CDP reserved extension." So, I dont know what to do to correct this thing.
This thing occurs in Soundloom and SoundShaper too.

Thanks for reporting this bug. You're quite right: adding in the "Silence unpitched" option (-r flag) seems to produce an .ana output with an unreadable header. So we'll have to take a look at the program code for this and see what's (not) going on.

What's happening here is annoying, but it's not random—the error is basically telling you the analysis file is getting corrupted or misread when "Silence unpitched" is enabled.
This issue has not been ignored and a solution is on its way.

I replaced the file specfnu.exe but when I try to do some process that involves this command, a DOS window appears and the Avast antivirus jumps and blocks it. I don't know what to do; is it secure? do I need to disable the antivirus? Thanks.
When updating programs you'll probably have to run this again.

Thanks, the Terminal says that "xattr" does not means nothing but I tried in Soundloom and Soundshaper, and the problem is solved. So it works.
