Title: Soundloom not working due to non-latin system
Post by: Vasilakis on July 28, 2024, 11:54:34 AM
When trying to launch Soundloom, I get following error:

Fatal Error in Wish
System Encoding

I think this is because my OS is cyrillic.
I remember that Trevor Wishart had special executable file replacement that fixed it on his website, but from what I recall it was provided for very old (by now) version of SoundLoom.
Perhaps new one could be compiled and provided with recent release?

Thanks.

Sorry to "bump" this, but is there anything I could try?

Also that alternative .exe for an old version that was mention on Mr. Wishart's website isn't available anymore (gave me 404 response).

While I'm feeling comfortable with SoundShaper and SoundThread, I hope to try SoundLoom, too, at some point in the future.

Thanks, and best wishes!
