Hi, I've been using supercollider with Claude for a little while now and it's very good at programming super collider including gui apps if it does something wrong you just tell it the error and it fixes it and I'm talking about programming , .. terminal commands would be nothing to this thing so I think it would be really interesting if CDP Could be put into one of these LLM's and the write terminal commands for cdp to say -  I want to do this process in this way then into this process in this way and then it types it all out for you as a file and bam. ChatGPT is very good at at terminal so I wanted to say maybe that could be an option I know there's maybe moral issues some people have with some of these LLM's,  but they can provide access to people without having to spend a year reading you know and reading and reading, also. Are the workshops for working with Terminal on a Mac somewhere? I had them but wasn't sure if they've been updated or not. Thank you

Is it possible to get some batch files made for the processes for Osx?  Maybe they  could run in terminal perhaps?

I’m trying to use cdp without the tediousness, otherwise what is the point of it if it isn’t fun.
Maybe some randomness added to the parameters so you can run the file and get a new thing each time?
Instead of an approach of fine tuning everything with exactness,  a more random approach, with less options but quicker results. Thanks

I was in communication with Robert about this. Im Frank, fbfrankb5 at gmail, I never got around to doing the lessons for the terminal in oSX. Life got in the way.  I re-downloaded the lessons and Im ready to get going with it. Robert, your old email doesn't work. Were there updates to the Course Materials for the CreativeSoundDesign class?  If so, I'm all for an update. If not, I'll just go through these texts. There seems to be about 20 in all. I'll let you know how it goes.

Maybe it won't work on a new Mac, but the manual hasn't been updated since 2007. Curious if an older version might work better/ make more sense

Is sound loom for Mac going to be updated? Should I even keep it on my computer?
What is the plan for any Mac software?

Im getting 32 bit warnings for Mojave with soundloom and the creator of soundloom doesn't like Macs. So maybe soundshsaper for Mac would be a better idea.

I can click Instrument button once. and then never again. I get the above error. (in soundloom Mac)[/list]

I try to extract channels in Instrument page. Right, so if I select the file it goes away, toasts the first issue, the I hit the extract command and get.

It says "Soundloom is damaged" and wants to move it to the trash.

Some expert would do a great service if they did some soundloom vid tutorials. Please

Or close to it? Willing to make some tutorial videos on youtube just to get a grasp of that interface?

It would go a loooong way.. it helping visual learners. Plus, there has been so much tacked on it is hard to keep up with the changes

I have to stop some tasks to even delete temp audio files. It freezes up soundshaper all the time. I dont know what is going on

Sorry again for bringing up an old version of sound loom. I did everything to install it correctly i think.

but im afraid permission denied is preventing the sound loom.tcl from starting.

i try to run progs from the terminal and i get permision denied.
i changed the get info on the cdpr folder to read and write. still nothing.

sorry to bring up this old junk. i did actually pay for this CD. lol.

I want desperatly to get it running on my ppc. I dont want to upgrade to an expensive computer and i like the ppc. thanks. any help appreciated

i think supercollider sounds absolutely amazing. no expert but it just has a beautiful sound. listening to curtis roads stuff. his program was made in sc and it sounds astounding.

but something in me wants to learn soundloom. its like someone went out of their way to obfuscate something. it feels like im using my left hand to write and essay when im a rightie.  i feel soundloom is in need of video tutorial as it really lacks common sense. am i alone?

im at max resolution on my laptop. soundLoom goes a bit under the taskbar. any way to resize?

im using linux Mint. and id like to install cdp gto work with renoise. i dont know where to start. halp
