General Board / FOF Strecht Breakpoint Pitch
« on: October 31, 2023, 04:08:15 AM »
Hi. I don't know how to creat a breakpoint pitch for FOF Strecht program. Do I have to analyse/extract the audio file pitch from some tool and create a txt file from it? Which tool is that?
Thank you

General Board / Renoise Interface
« on: January 14, 2021, 07:20:48 PM »
Hi, I beleived this is not a new thread, but please check it out. I am trying (again) to run CDP Renoise interface on Ubuntu Studio (20.04), but as always I cannot run any CDP programs. I always receive the message that my settings could be incorrect and so on. Ok. I have reinstalled CDP using the tutorial made for linux: install libaaio, install programs with makeprograms.sh. Everything seems fine until I test the installation typing ./blur in the terminal as the tutorial teaches us. It was supposed to identify blur, its version, its correlation with CDP and so on, but the only thing that shows up on the terminal is "blur is a directory". This happens if I am running the terminal from dev directory, but if I do that from $HOME it simply says "bash: ./blur File or directory not found".
So I am starting to beleive that the problem running Renoise CDP interface is with CDP installation itself.
I have checked /usr/local/lib and libaaio-0.3.1 is already there as it is supposed to. Release directory inseid dev directory presents some programs: abfdcode, abfpan, abfpan2,channelx,chorder,chxformat,copysfx, fmdcode, interlx, njoin, nmix, rmsinfo and sfprops; and thats it.
The dev directory has many folders (directories, programs?), 43 in all, including...blur
But when typing ./blur in the terminal, nothing seems to happen.
Any help? Please?
Thank you a lot, be safe, hope you all have a better year.

Hi, thanks. I will try that, but I'm not sure this is the problem. I am just trying to listen to the whole score in sequence and Soundloom replies saying it cannot do it because of missing cdptest0.txt.
Thank you

Thank you for your answer. Would you give some tips of websites and other documents to learn how to work with tcl files? Thank you again. Hope you and your family be in good health.

General Board / Soundloom on Linux
« on: May 24, 2020, 02:42:41 PM »
Hi, hope you are all well.
I would like to know how to install soundloom on Ubuntu Studio 18.04. I have already installed cdp on it but no soundloom present.
I am using the windows version via Wine, but would prefer a native one.
Thank you.

Thank you. I have tried this but it didn't work. Still get the cdptest0.wav not found message.
What is cdptest0.wav anyway? In my macbook pro, also with high sierra, cdp works fine, but not in my macmini (same OS).
I can't find cdptest0.wav even in my macbook pro, except on log files (also on macmini).
Thanks

What can I do?

Sorry, I didn't get it: which executables should I copy into the _cdprogs folder?
The cdptest0.wav problem persists here: Soundloom can't find it, so it cannot run any process.
I need more help on this subject.
Thanks
(p.s. Mac OS High Sierra)

General Board / Re: Still on CDP Renoise Tool

Thank you Xenakios. I use CDP on a Mac as well, both with Soundloom and your Reaper's Front End. Though I am trying some alternatives for Linux based software, that's the reason why Renoise.
Anyway, thank you for the tip.

General Board / CDP Renoise

Hi, I am trying to make CDP run on Renoise. The CDP_SOUND_EXT=wav that I wrote on the bashrc file seems to work partially: The message of "incomplete installation" disappeared, but the "no output" file message keep showing up.
Any tips?
I am running Ubuntu Studio 14.03.02, CDP 7, Renoise 3.01 DEMO (Is this the reason why?)
Thanks

General Board / Re: CDP tool for Renoise Linux installation guide
« on: April 10, 2016, 03:08:55 PM »
Hi, thanks for posting. I have installed everything, followed each step, and everything are pretty sure installed...at least...
Well, I open renoise, open its tools and cdp tool. Try to run a process, but the message is always the same: it cannot produce any output. I wrote the code in the bashrc file: CDP_SOUND_EXT=wav, but it seems not to be working properly. There are no messages insisting that CDP installations is incomplete as before, but I can't output any processed sound. Can you help me with this? I am using Ubuntu Studio 14.03.02 on an HP laptop, and Renoise 3.01 Demo. Thanks
